These are some of the main aspects that a horror trailer needs :
  • Build up
  • Specific scenes of dialogue
  • Text
  • A good/spooky variety of sounds
  • A killer/murderer
  • A main character
  • An innocent character
  • A twist
  • White flash
  • Black outs
  • Fade out
  • Lighting
  • Well thought shots
  • Voice over
